Chris H. Burnett is the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Cornerstone Bank and a seasoned veteran banker with nearly 30 years experience in financial services and real estate. Formerly the President and CEO of Horizon Bank, he increased that bank’s assets three-fold with a significant increase in profitability and shareholder value. He also led Eastside Bank, a two-branch community bank in Gwinnett County, through its acquisitions by Main Street Bank and then by BB&T. Mr. Burnett has held three CEO positions, including the current one, driving revenue and growth while retaining safety and soundness.

Charles K. Yorke serves as President and COO and brings nearly 30 years of banking experience. He joined Horizon Bank in 2000 where he grew the loan portfolio from $14 million to $400 million and expanded the branch network to four locations, leaving in 2007 as President. Mr. Yorke joined Regions Bank via its acquisition of First Gwinnett Bank, where he was the senior lender for the community bank. Mr. Yorke directs business development for the Bank’s recently-opened Decatur location and was elected Chairman for the 2008 Board of Directors of the DeKalb County Chamber of Commerce.

Frank H. Roach is EVP, Chief Financial Officer with over 30 years in commercial and community banking. He was responsible for the formation of the holding company, Cornerstone Bancshares, as well as the completion of several stock offerings. Mr. Roach was President and a founding director of Southern National Bank where he was instrumental in the formation of the bank and building it to $380 million in assets while earning over $5 million annually. He also served as EVP and CFO for Premier Bank, taking the bank public, first on NASDAQ and then the NYSE. As EVP and CFO for Premier Bank and its predecessor, Mr. Roach managed 4 acquisitions for a total of 15 during his banking career.
