Message from the CEO

Since my last letter to you, the world has certainly changed with the impact of the residential real estate turmoil and talk of the recession. While this is certainly a challenging time, we firmly believe there are good opportunities even in these difficult times.

Our seasoned management team continues to strategically grow Cornerstone Bank. Assets reached $377 million and loans $350 million at the end of first quarter 2008. With our continued growth, and to better serve our clients located throughout north metro Atlanta, we are planning new banking center locations in 2009.

We strive to deliver value-added banking services to you, your family and your business. This Spring, we are introducing our new business debit card, just another convenient way to bank, and we sign clients up every day for our remote deposit service, e-Check Scan.
